Katherine Johnson and Ed Thomas are dissolving Market Development Group,
LLC
on December 31, 2008
to focus on our particular areas of interest and expertise.
Katherine's new entity, Johnson Consulting Group, LLC, will be
headquartered in Frederick, Maryland, and focus on program planning,
analysis, design, and evaluation. This will include, but not be limited to:
o Publishing and Seminars: Developing and updating industry guides
on specific programs or technologies, such as the Geo Heat Pump Report,
Home Performance Industry Compendium and Western's
Commercial and Industrial Lighting Workshops
o Market
Research and Analysis:
Conducting technical and market potential studies

Developing designs and business case analysis to support new programs

Evaluation, Measurement and Verification:
Conducting process and impact evaluations for existing programs

Support:
Preparing white papers and case studies that showcase effective deployment
strategies

and Tactical Consulting:
Providing guidance to organizations interested in launching innovative
programs such as the CFL Fund Raiser
Ed is joining the Electric & Gas Industries Association
to form
Utility Exchange as an
affiliate of the non-profit organization dedicated to advancing energy
efficiency and renewable energy solutions
and will focus on event, webinar, and program planning and support.
This will include, but not be limited to:
